Research papers are invited in the areas of information technology, information systems, information management, emerging technologies, mobile technology and use, software engineering, business and social informatics, and e-government. Papers in the above areas which highlight the move to qualitative research, and on new and innovative methods in qualitative research are particularly welcome.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
QualIT 2007 and The Qualitative Report (TQR) are pleased to announce selected papers from the Fourth International Conference on Qualitative Research in IT & IT in Qualitative Research to be held at Wellington, New Zealand, on November 18-20, 2007, will be published in TQR.
The Qualitative Report (ISSN 1052-0147; http://www.nova.edu/ssss/QR/index.html) is a peer-reviewed, open access, on-line journal devoted to writing and discussion of and about qualitative, critical, action, and collaborative inquiry and research since 1990. The journal is published by Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. Drs. Ron Chenail, Sally St. George, Dan Wulff, Maureen Duffy, and Laurie Charlés serve as TQR's editors.

Researchers are also invited to propose a discussion panel.
Papers are sought from researchers carrying out qualitative research employing methods such as: action research, case studies, narrative enquiry, ethnography, grounded theory within the disciplines of IT, IS and Information Management and using software tools expressly for the qualitative researcher.
Paper Submission and Registration
Full papers will be peer-reviewed by national and/or international experts. The proceedings will be published with an ISBN number and will be made available to non-attendees. Submissions will be submitted online.
